ocd is so different than the image it is portrayed as. i was diagnosed late too and i was shocked that a lot of what i thought was anxiety was actually ocd. It explained why so many things i tried to help didnt work

One of my preschoolers was a biter and he was really really bad about it. I let him get me good one day and then fake cried and hollered about how bad I was hurt and had my other teacher get me bandaid and rock me like you would rock him if he was hurt. Made a whole scene 😅. He never bit anyone ever again. Scared it right out of him.

I remember my first anxiety attack. I was 8. In California at my aunts house. She had a bbq and I couldn’t find my mom. I ran around screaming for my mom and we had to leave the bbq. We went to the store and sat in the parking lot until I was ok.

Robyn Lynn :

I didn't realize I had lifelong anxiety until I was 27. It would take another 10 years for me to realize I had earthquake PTSD.
