RIley’s Mom :
I agree with most but The House Across the Lake was awful. What a cheat.

Did you read The Silent Patient? That’s the one I can’t imagine beating in terms of a twist. I’m going to read this one by Riley Sager tho and see if it wins

Then She Was Gone was the first book I picked up 4 years ago. I have read 200+ books since then. I owe my love of reading to that book.

Love me some Riley Sager. We were both invited to be panelists at ThrillerFest in Manhattan and I had the lovely opportunity to chat with him for a bit And can say he's as cool a person as he is a writer. ✍️🤘

Just finished My Husbands Wife. Im 38, listened to the audio because I can’t retain words while reading. What an experience to make that my first book. I needed ChatGPT to help me along the way but i listened to it in one day. So many twists and an ending I did not see coming 🌟 I’m hooked on books now 😁

I’ll believe you on all of them simply because I felt the same way about House Across the Lake. My review said it felt like Riley Sager jumped out from behind my couch and bitch slapped me with that twist. 😂

I love Riley Sager. Unfortunately, I didn’t realize the house across the lake was a supernatural thriller. So that wasn’t a huge hit for me.
