One frequently asked question we get about our capybaras is “How often do they swim and for how long?“ Our capybaras always have access to their own pool, but they prefer swimming in the otter pool! You’ll see Cheese hop into the Capy pool maybe once in the morning for 5-10 minutes. Their favorite time to swim is in the evening, when I open the otter pool up for them for a few hours before bed. They’ll usually hang out and swim for anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour. #capybara #capybaras #cuteanimals #zen #animals
