I trained a few dozen in entry-level jobs. Video is on target. It was worse when they DID show up for work. Hour-long trips to the bathroom, complaining because they couldn't wear whatever they wanted, whining because they were expected to complete their shift, wanting to text while they worked, or talk on their phones, or snack. Useless.

My husband got my nephew a job at his work. He just didn’t show up for work when he didn’t feel like it and he got fired. They actually hired him back a second time thinking he learned his lesson and he did the same thing so they fired him again. They refuse to hire him back a third time and now he blames my husband for this and doesn’t speak to him (or me) anymore. Something is very wrong with this generation.
