No way Spotify is “listening” to their customers. This is likely because of the New EU law, AI companies like Anthropic/Claude now have to watermark AI generated content. I also believe that part of that new law is clear labels of AI. So if it’s because of this law, Spotify would be on the hook for fines up to like 13 million Euros (per infraction?).

I’m still mad I got fooled by a band because they had a “live” album. Made up banter, back stories for band members that don’t exist and fake fans that knew lyrics from a live stream that never happened.
