Just gave them mention their parents. It sounds more natural.

It’s been discussed before but hanging up a phone. Does not saying “bye” save that much time?

My favorite cliché is the car engine that wouldn’t turn over in a horror movie until that last second. You don’t see that anymore.

the cliche i hate is when a character steals a car, and finds the keys tucked in the sun visor. I guess people dont lock their cars in the movie world.

I prefer the “did you talk to Mom” of insert parental figure. A few more words still instant recognition.

I think it’s annoying how much a character will use the other character’s name. People don’t usually need to keep referring to their name. “Jim, you’re better than this” “Are you sure Joan? “Yes, Jim. Jesus Jim” lol 😂

Guy goes up the bar, can I get a beer. Never tells them which one the bartender always knows which one some how.

Least favorite is when a character is at a bar and they just order a beer. Just plain beer, like in real life, what restaurant would just be like “cool, i got u”

i get so angry when there's a misunderstanding that could easily be explained, but instead, the character is like "it's not what you think! I can explain" and never actually explains 😐 I know it's to create conflict but UGHHHHH

Do Americans actually do this?

I like when people are at a bar and theres 8 or 10 bottles on the table, to show that they've been there drinking awhile. Because no one ever busses tables

The ‘sis’ thing is annoying in English speaking movies. But the Japanese language has context for the relationship of two characters built into the syntax that usually just gets translated as sis or older / younger brother so that doesn’t bother me for some reason. The one movie thing that I can not stand is in action movies when a gun wielding baddy steps into the hero’s grabbing range just so the hero can take their gun. Like it’s a fn gun you don’t have to be that close to them to use it, that’s the damn point of a gun

I think my least favorite is. I got really It's important information to give you, but I can't give it to you on the phone! so when they meet up in person, the person 1 is already dead or 2 killed before they can give them the information right in front of the character

My wife always catches when a stuck up character has very straight hair and then when they start to become sympathetic, their hair is suddenly curly. Love it.
