I worked emergency psych for 4 years. I would never have documented (or meant to document) “not pressured speech.” I would have documented “normal speech” or speech “WNL” (within normal limits.) But if present, I would note “pressured speech.” Also, a Psychiatrist who was unfamiliar with the Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale, especially in this case, is negligent.
