@thedispensableceo: this watch is fascinating. this is the olto-8 chrono gate. the entire numeral display mechanically changes from 12-hour to 24-hour at noon, then switches back again at midnight. michael from my retro watches in the uk actually opened one up and inspected the mechanism. he originally thought olto-8 had simply adapted a date wheel to create the effect, but after looking closer, his conclusion was that it appears to be a bespoke complication using its own system of levers, cams and springs. he specifically pointed out how unusual that is when so many microbrands at this price are simply building around an off-the-shelf movement. for under $1,000, getting this level of mechanical creativity is pretty wild. #watchtok #watches #watchcollector #WatchCollection #watchreview
