Retired cop here. That’s a great thing for him to do to have the parents deal with it. The warning goes on your driving record and still is bad for your insurance, but I like what he’s trying to do.

I wish I had this deal as a teenager lol. I got speeding 5 over at 16 and speeding 10 over at 17. My parents were not happy. Back in the late 90s 😂
