LONG SAPPY POST! I never thought in a million years I would of ended up being a momma! I thought after my diagnosis in 2016 that those chances was slim! Then I met Andrew Giordano and the Hope at least trying seemed so worth it. He gave me HOPE! But I would be lying if I didn’t battle with myself mentally feeling like he deserved someone who could guarantee that for him but he never once made me feel that. Always said, “if I have you for the rest of my life I’ll be happy with that” ☺️ December 7th, 2021 we transferred our embryo after finding the right egg donor, prepping my body to sustain a pregnancy then 4 days later I got a faint positive an 2 weeks later it was confirmed! ☺️ My pregnancy was pretty uneventful besides January being hospitalized with COVID and finding out I was extremely allergic to Rocephin (going into anaphylactic shock isn’t a fun experience) . I had some nausea but nothing I couldn’t handle. My face never broke out, I barely gained weight. I really just enjoyed my pregnancy and feeling him grow everyday! I had my baby shower July 16th and if you saw the pictures you knew I wasn’t feeling it. By the following Tuesday I had told Andrew that something didn’t feel right but with it being super late I brushed it off and called the office the next morning. I went in to see them and ended up not leaving due to having a extremely high level of protein in my urine and being on the fence with my BP. That hospital trip we found out Hunter was extremely small for 35 weeks and that he had IUGR. I stayed until that Saturday and was released to be seen on that Monday. I got BP medicine on that Monday and was told to come back if anything changed. Wednesday rolled around and we had just gotten done eating dinner and andrew had since gone to bed when all of a sudden my vision went completely blurry. I told my grandma since she was in town from the previous week and she urged me I should probably go to the hospital heck I think I even called Kara. After an hour drive to the hospital and getting there about 10 o’clock that night they got me back and checked my BP to find out it was 206/109. My CNA brain when she checked it back to back just simply thought the cuff wasn’t working 🤦🏼‍♀️ but it was just because my BP was so high. I don’t know if I ever saw a doctor hand a patient medicine but that night I did! They got me started on Mag and I was told to get comfortable cause I wasn’t going anywhere. Around 4am the doctor came in just as I was on the phone with andrew and told me that we were going to be having him soon! They got me moved to L&D that early morning and started the induction and by 4:59pm on July 28th at 37 weeks I gave birth to our sweet, feisty 3Lb 15 oz baby boy!💙 Hunter Morgan, is by far our greatest blessing and I can’t believe that we have had the joys of being his parents for a whole year! You always hear your parents say how time flies but you never truly believe them until you have one of your own. One whole year around the sun and I wouldn’t trade it for the world! But time is welcome to slow down just a little! HAPPY 1ST BIRTHDAY HUNTER MORGAN WE LOVE YOU 🥳 #first#firstbirthdayt#firstbirthdayinjapani#americansinjapand#movedtojapanw#misawajapanw#misawaairbaseo#boymomt#firsttimemom
