It’s not the no contact that bothers me a year into a divorce. It’s the lack of accountability and the impact of my self esteem and memories of wondering how much of it was real. The negative outweighs the positive memories but I still feel the weight some days of how I was treated. I’m happier now days but I still feel it too even when I emotionally detached from the situation.
