It was also an immediate, we're not spending money. Playstation fans are still trying to organize a (week long), they dropped the news of cancelling a love interest and the LADS fanbase stopped spending (and a fair bit stopped playing entirely).

Companies are greedy. If they won't listen to your voice, they'll listen to your wallet. If enough people join the Playstation blackout and they see a significant drop in revenue following the news, they will listen to get their money back up

I was pissed about PlayStation discontinuing physical games. I had already made the decision to never purchase anything from them ever again. I’m also part of the LADS boycott. If PlayStation users could band together the way the LADS fandom has in their boycott, PlayStation would 100% listen to us. Sadly I’m not sure if enough people would care to participate in a worldwide boycott against PlayStation but who knows
