@bowmarbowhunting: This was bad.. These aoudad live in some treacherous places. Where we are is 8,000–9,000 feet. Insanely steep terrain. Loose rock. Cactus and agava leaves little room for error. One wrong step can have serious consequences. Which isn’t even what happened here. My cameraman was giving everything he had trying to keep up until his body simply gave out. He went unconscious mid-stride traversing the mountain. He went limp, collapsing and fell more than 60 feet down the mountain, accelerating until this tree finally stopped him. Without that tree, I don’t know if he would have survived. Thankfully, he made it out. People see the kill. They see the trophy. They see a few minutes of footage. What they don’t always see is what it takes to get there. The elevation. The exhaustion. The suffering. The real risk of giving it your all. As for the camera guy. He couldn’t get up. So we had to get a mule in there to carry him out. He’s expected to make a full recovery in no time.

This is why Josh bowmar is one of my favorite best number one hunters. He cares for others. He's a great hunter. He's supportive, he's like my role model, even though i'm 26 i'm a big fan of him and Sarah and I'm just very happy that Josh was there to help him. I hope he's okay

OK, help me out with this one. Texas has the most prevalent population of Aoudad with Spain second and Africa being the least. I’ve taken five Aoudad in Texas so far and not once had a traverse anywhere dangerous to get to them. Why would you go out of your way to put an arrow into an animal that you can do so safely in Texas yet risk you or your cruise health doing so elsewhere?

Thanks for being compassionate with him. Very nice to see this bc it shows that you care more about him than about the hunt.
