My biggest flex is I know insurance like crazy, and can prior auth literally anything you throw my way. I know how to finesse these greedy ass insurance companies, and I do it with the greatest of pleasure 😁

Insurnace lesson for those who want to know: a PPO plan is pretty nice they don’t need to have referrals to see specialists or have a designated PCP. HMO are stricter they require both of those things and they only cover in network providers. With a PPO they typically have coverage for in an out of network (in network has more coverage of course but at least you wouldn’t be paying out of pocket with an out of network provider). PPO plans usually cost more to have (because of the better benefits) than HMOs. This payment you make to have these plans is called your premium (this is usually what people get mixed up with their deductible) a DEDUCTIBLE is a large sum of money you pay toward as you go to office visits or hospitals and such when you pay those additional fees. Some plans actually require you to meet your deductible before insurance will cover ANYTHING. (EX: you have a $1,000 deductible but your insurance says it won’t cover any medical device until the deductible is met)… a COPAY is a set amount you pay for services (EX: after see the dr for a office visit you have a $25 co-pay each time) COINSURANCE is a percentage amount you pay leftover from what your insurance covered (EX: Medicare covers 80% so your coinsurance is 20%)
