@50501oc: What to note this week: 👉 Tues 8/11: The community continues to demand accountability from GKN Aerospace at the Garden Grove City Council Meeting. 👉 Sat 8/15: Join Orange Coast Huddle and HB4Democracy at the Huntington Beach summer block party to meet your neighbors, eat some snacks, and sign up to volunteer with local progressive organizations. 👉 Sun 8/16: It’s time for the special DeFlock edition of the Rally for Democracy in Costa Mesa to mark the start of the National Week of Action Against ALPRs (Automated License Plate Readers). This event will begin an hour earlier than usual at 1pm. Expect helpful info, music, snacks, and some fun surprises. 👉 The Friday Ladera Ranch rally is back on for this week. Mondays in Rancho Santa Margarita and Sundays at Irvine City Hall are on hold as organizers regroup and strategize for the long term.
