The only reason I don’t like some “friendslop” games is because I really want to play them but don’t have friends that would want to play with me. In most cases this has been an issue with pokemon like trade evolutions and whatnot. It just really sucks how they make that part untouchable if you don’t have friends with common interests and I think games making their whole shtick about playing with friends is better than limiting things without them that aren’t necessary

I’m ngl, I’m on the hater side because if I’m spending ten or more dollars on a game, I don’t want to play it once and then never play it again. I pretty much only play these kinds of games with friends so that’s the only time I play them. The only friendslop game I played for multiple hours was Peak, and I still play it (by myself cause I’m an overachiever and wanted to get through all the ascends). But to the half a dozen other ones, complete waste of money.
