stillnegative :

Thank god we got DMC and Haunting Grounds from this

🍒Charlie🪻 :

Seeing Leon in an ACTUAL horror game would’ve been peak..

boremeagain :

I mourn this version of re4 every day while also still loving the ever living fuck out of the one we got

Pumpkins.in.my.cereal :

Another timeline got this version

pollux :

This kinda became haunting ground in a way

tills ૮ ˙Ⱉ˙ ა :

i’m so intrigued as to how the franchise would look now if they kept this version

UrbanCityWreckers :

A modern re game in this style would go so hard. A shame modern gamers can only play the same game over and over and are allergic to anything different or unique

ryley ༒︎ :

what this game could have been😞

Cont3ss4 :

I feel like Resident Evil village took at least some of the concepts from this prototype.

V :

first version of re4 looks so liminal to me

seee7011 :

Capcom was goin crazy making re4 they really make 2 more hits with haunting ground and devil may cry out of re4 scraps

sunday003 :

love how this 3.5 version became dmc1

🇺🇸TylerMcFly🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 :

Honestly glad this was transitioned into DMC and we got the RE4 we did

PulverizeDatHoe :

would've lovveeeddddd if we still got games styled like this, RE0, and RE1R as like a spinoff series

MattActorGordon :

Forever mourning this version, actually 😢

lmao bruh :

hey look on the bright side, we'd never have gotten Dante and dmc if not for this being scrapped

Crusader Chungus :

Very “a fever you can’t sweat out” vibes

Peter 🦈 :

If you guys like the look and feel of re4 play dmc1 and haunting grounds !

fortnitbro4695nutella :

Музыка с Сайлент Хилла 💪

redsasxah89 :

So this is what RE8 was for RE4 than they stored it for several years to use on RE8.

Nyaachan :

They should’ve made this one as a dlc

Артемий Гордеев :

toisty :

hot take, them changing from this style here lead to the downfall that came with 6

Sheldon :

This song makes it that much sadder that we didn’t get this

Aaabant :

Looks similar to re village
