@jeeves_ny: Laundry Tips From a Dry Cleaner 1- Check every stain before tumble drying, heat sets stains permanently 2- “Cold water" isn't actually cold, it's 86°F/30°C, warm pool temp 3- Hot water fades your clothes faster 4- You're not as dirty as you think, cut back on product overload (specifically detergent) 5- Pretreat stains before washing, always 6- A powerful liquid detergent works just as well as a stain remover spray 7- Let pretreatment sit an hour+ for best results 8- Hydrogen peroxide is underrated, keep it in rotation 9- Air dry when you can #Laundry #Cleaning #LaundryTips

I have air dried my T shirts my entire adult life and they basically last forever that way. It’s a total miracle.

What is the best way to use hydrogen peroxide to bring back the white for white sheets. Don’t like to continue bleaching and try to avoid it. Have OxiClean. Front loader. What’s the process?

can u do captions that arent singular words flashing ? these arent that accessible to a lot of ppl and it would be more helpful to have at least 3-5 words that show up at a time so we can know what ur saying

Cold water in Florida, during the summer time, at 2pm is one temperature. Cold water in Buffalo New York, in January, is a completely different temperature..... newer HE machines don't use hot water. the warm setting is barely warm and the hot setting will give you water of about 40° Celsius, or 104 f. that temp was always considered warm water.... clothes get much cleaner at 40° C. then at 20° C, that's just a fact, enzymes work better, surfactants work better, oil based stains are easier to remove... separate your really dark colors, like blacks and jeans, washing them at a lower temperature. the rest of your laundry should probably be done at 40° C, which is warm on an older machine and hot on one of the newer machines.
