@meghannmcuniff: Lindsay Clancy's lawyer kept his cross-examination brief today with the psychiatric nurse practitioner who prescribed Clancy Prozac and other drugs in November 2022. Kevin Reddington questioned Julie Paul for two minutes this morning (Tuesday, August 11, day 11) after her 50-minute direct-exam testimony on Monday. Paul worked with Clancy for about a week in late November 2022 while working at South Shore Hospital's perinatal behavioral health program in Weymouth, Massachusetts. She established the program in 2018 to address mental health issues in pregnant and postpartum women. She prescribed her Prozac, then stopped the Prozac and prescribed mirtazapine and klonopin. She then transferred Clancy's care to a colleague, Rebecca Jollotta, because she was leaving her position. "You worked with Lindsay, and the reason you you were involved with Lindsay is because, if I understand it correctly, her mother-in-law, Patrick's mother, Sue, worked with a friend of yours?" Reddington asked. "Correct," Paul answered. "So basically, Sue asked her friend if she could reach out and have you kind of step in and help out?" Reddington asked. "That's correct," Paul answered. "And that's what you did?" Reddington asked. "Yes," Paul answered. "And you stepped up and you treated this woman obviously with with care and professionalism. In my opinion," Reddington asked. "Thank you," Paul answered. "In the course of your treatment of Lindsay, actually, you went so far as to give her your cell phone, if I'm correct. Is that right?" Reddington asked. "She did have my cell phone because I called her on my day off. Yes, sir," Paul answered. "Okay. I don't have any other questions, Judge. Thank you very much for your care," Reddington said. clear as day that Patrick's parents gave much more of a shit about Lindsay than he ever did.

Reddington is showing that the only proper care Lindsay received was from this woman who did a favor for Lindsay’s MIL.

Wow. When it comes time to give out a compliment, this attorney surely does that. And this professional definitely deserved it.

I wonder what would have happened had Lindsay continued treatment with her. She seems to be the only one who gives a shit.

What's going to happen to Lindsay when she's found not guilty? She no longer has her home and her kids. She's been locked away for the past 3 years knowing that the media made her out to be a fucking monster. And now, we see what was originally reported, is SO far from the what the truth is. Right now, she's safe (from herself) behind 4 walls that have 24 hour supervision. What happens when she gets to go home and that constant supervision isn't there? When she's free to go about like it's just a regular day? We're all invested in this trial and proving she's innocent. And when it's over we will all go back to our daily lives. But what about Lindsay? This will continue to be her daily life. Her mind will probably replay over and over what her life was like up until that day, what she could of/should of done differently. I say all of this bc I'm genuinely concerned about the next chapter for Lindsay

I like how he doesn’t just attack every medical professional like many defense attorneys would. He actually shows how reasonable he is because he can recognize who did their job and tried to help the patient

He released her of the burden of being in anyway responsible for the kids or Lindsay. It was so much more than a compliment. I hope she is okay.

The prosecution said Lindsay was “shopping around” so he was making a point here that she knew her MIL. And her MIL initiated this. Also, getting those records in.
