I kind of like how they didn’t overexplain, it focused on the story and let us imagine and wonder about the sci-fi explanation for what happened to them. It’s open ended and let us not be concerned with any of that until we were leaving the theatre

Great movie but some things are not fully explained well like how did Denise ? ( black girl) rescued her family ( you can see her afterwards enjoying with her whole family ) . That means that she had to encounter the version of herself in that timeline . Also it was cruel to have the versions of the mom and the kids because they took their father . Finally I would imagine that a time loop was created and it kept repeating but it was an open time loop
