The party needs corporate campaign donations. Policies that help citizens hurts those same corporation profits. The party doesn't want to risk losing donations. Bernie pushes for things that poll very well: Rasing the minimum wage, taxing the rich, universal health care, lifting the cap on Social Security.

Yet, they will enrich themselves, won't do it? PS you know the ironic thing about JC? All his death did was create a civil war where his nephew...keyword there is nephew...took over as emporer and destroyed the republic.

I remember when Bernie was anti open boarder because of the impact it had on low wage jobs and housing. He now is a multimillionaire millionaire with three houses so maybe that is what changed.
