1400 has terrible aero I returned mine the day I got it. pushes wind right down your back and into your jacket (depending on riding position probably) get the r7 black or just go with the x15.

Stay away from alpines helments, there’s literally a recall on them other then that the rest of the gear they make is great, I recommend KYT

Please don’t listen to the comments. Ask the people who work there. They will all tell you to get Shoei over any alpinestars helmet. It’s just overall a way better helmet

R-7, most practical helmet I’ve owned for daily riding. Wind noise is barely noticeable, FOV is great. Speaker cutouts make it convenient, styling is semi aggressive but it still looks good.

I’ve had both helmets, they’re both good at different things. The rf1400 will be overall quieter while riding. The r7 fits a little tighter but feels better with glasses, also looks a little better imo. Either way, if you have a cardo the music will drown out the wind noise.

I’m a SHOEI girl myself. This literally is the most comfortable helmet I’ve worn. I appreciated the safety factors too
