I was going to the chiropractor paying $30 a visit with no insurance. I got insurance and asked them to see if they cover anything and now I have to pay $60 a visit because that’s my “copay”. So I asked them to take the insurance off my account since it’s cheaper without insurance and they said no they can’t do that 🙃

As someone who works in medical billing the whole damn system is a scam and a mess. And I couldn’t tell you how over I am of these insurance companies they find anything and everything to not cover something it’s insane. So sorry this is happening to you!

Insurance huge scam! We the people need to wake up & push back! I’ve been on diabetes meds for 7 years now & now all of a sudden insurance says they are not paying because it’s not necessary now!!! I pay $1200 a month for just me!!! 😡😡😡

Tbh insurance is only worth it if you can get it through your employer. I only pay $170 a month for mine and I pay copays or 80/20 for emergency/surgeries. Still get a fat bill but worth them covering what they do

Call around and ask outpt offices about prices for ct scans and they will tell you the exact price without insurance. They will all give you different prices 🤔
