In San Antonio we don’t just have the dis de Los muertos parade. There’s a lot of events going on around downtown. People create the most amazing and beautiful Ofrenda to honor their loved ones who have passed. There’s a bunch of sugar skulls painted by people with beautiful designs, a ton of art throughout and food and entertainment. And some people go all out and get dressed up in some AMAZING costumes. There’s a community altar you can submit photos to, or you can take your own and place it by the altar. I’ve been going for years.
