It’s mind boggling how many times she attempted to get help. To be failed over and over again.

This would never happen in Canada. Each doctor has to log in to the system where they can see the entire medical history and the list of drugs

When a patient is this sick they should be seen in person, not a telemedicine visit

To boost up the dosage of such an intense medication that quickly while she is not in inpatient care, while not making an effort to receive her medical records or contact her current or recent providers is negligence at best.

I am prescribed 25-75 mg to sleep after losing my daughter. When I take 3 I get such realistic nightmares it sends me into a dark depression or a few days. I’m crying to think what 300 mg would do. This is horrific

That is one of the major issues with the psychiatrist, I’ve worked for them for eight years and the same thing they do not wanna talk to any of their other doctors and it’s some of them don’t even want their records. My last one didn’t even want a list of the medication’s that they were taking only the ones that were prescribed by that one particular provider so yes, this is a big problem.

How can THEY possibly prescribe such strong drugs with such minimal contact and follow up, let alone not speak to each other?

That's a lot of visits with those providers too, psychiatrists/NP normally only see you once a month...

No duty of care by any of these “professionals” - ICU Nurse excluded, she was the only one who advocated and provided excellent patient care.
