Here are some important facts about this for context. In 2016 the roughly number of crimes were 146 so by 2024 they reported 13,034 criminal charges so that’s the 8800% increase. The starting number was so low so the % increase seems so high. Around 2418 students made all those crimes so multiple crimes by the same person. And 2418 is less than 1% of all the students in Canada. The total count of students is roughly 188,125 students. So the way they are giving you the facts is to make you believe the Indian people are destroying Canada or something. Is xenophobia and text book racism. Hold your news accountable fam.
