i definitely prefer sub, sounds more polished and i feel like it gives me more insight to the characters, since kodaka mostly picked all their voices. komaedas jp voice is def my favorite!!

Idk if that authenticity point holds up when there are multiple male characters in the Japanese audio who are played by women when they’re played by men in the English audio

Personally, Dub is much easier for me to understand, expecially in the trails. It's just less chaotic and stressful, especially in the truth bullet sequence

i prefer dub only for V3, I feel like it fits the characters more. but for thh, sdr2 and UDG, I've always picked sub since I love the original voices

i play sub in every single game EVEN persona games, which i sometimes regret bc i miss the iconic english dialogues. but ill prob keep playing sub so i know how the characters talk (like gonta) in both languages
