I’m a white chick. When I moved to DFW, I saw this really old church that I wanted to try out. I walked in that next Sunday and it was a sea of black faces. And hats. Lots and lots of big, beautiful hats. The energy and joy in that sanctuary was nothing like I had ever experienced. And that preacher man had a serious come to Jesus sermon. White folk services/sermons are pretty much a snooze fest. Everyone was welcoming and so very kind. I don’t do organized religion anymore. But if I ever do again, that’s where I’ll be going.

Where does his money come from to pay his bills? James Talarico has faced political scrutiny regarding his relationship with his former chief of staff who later became a healthcare lobbyist. If he gets into senate will he start up then with the young interns?
