I mean, who is referring to these terms, usually the people using the slang don’t refer to their own age group’s slang as like Gen Z slang, it’s usually older generations using an identifier, so Gen X probably calls it Millennial Slang. For me I think of it by time period but then Gen Alpha is Gen Alpha Slang.
