@inventionontt: Original Video Credit: IG/hoseandaccessories A hydraulic cylinder is secured in a shop fixture while pressure is applied to check whether the repaired assembly can withstand its operating load. Within seconds, the test ends abruptly as part of the cylinder assembly fails and hydraulic fluid erupts outward. Hydraulic systems transmit force by pressurizing nearly incompressible fluid inside sealed components. If a seal, fitting, retaining component, or other part can no longer contain that pressure, the fluid can escape extremely rapidly and produce the violent spray seen here. Pressure testing is used to verify hydraulic components before they return to service, but it also demonstrates why proper containment and distance are important during testing. High-pressure hydraulic failures can release substantial energy and create hazards from fluid, failed components, and unexpected movement. No copyright infringement intended. so no set screws? or they just did not rebuild it correctly because those cylinders are supposed to be made not to do that.💀
