Just make sure to take the kind of unisom that doesn’t contain diphenhydramine! It has studies showing chronic use can cause early onset dementia and cognitive decline

I am on unisom too! Started with 1 full tablet in my first trimester but it made me so groggy in the morning on my way to work. I’m taking 1/2 tablet for my second trimester now and it has eliminated that morning grogginess. I’m trying to go down to 1/4 to see how I do 🤞🏻 if you haven’t been told already, the withdrawals are terrible if you have been taking it consistently and decide not to take it one night. So definitely taper if you decide to come off it! Pairing it with magnesium glycinate and zinc before bed is also a game changer 🫶🏻

I had to take half a dose of unisom because it would make me so groggy, but I have terrible pregnancy insomnia. Even half a dose makes me tired all day though so my midwife had me switch to magnesium citrate. it's helped!

I had bad insomnia my second trimester. Please ask your doctor to test you for anemia! Once I had the iron infusions I could sleep so so much better!
