So if I sell a put for $100 get a premium of $20 what’s the most potential I could lose?

Dr. slickbooty :
would you ever consider call and put spreads at the same time?

I just try to skim $200 a day. I can usually get that by noon. That’s basically 40k a year. That’s basically dbl payments on your mortgage and only working 48 of the 52 weeks of the year.

It was a winning trade but definitely was more of a call credit spread day than a put one. Thanks for the insights and will continue to keep learning!

I have switched to the Spx which has better premiums and no after hour nonsense and better tax treatment. Also no surprises no ETF nonsense.

Do you trade around the spread during the day ? Or do you get the set up and leave it till the close ?

Quick question if I’m on a margin account and I do the daily spread and it goes against my option will I be forced to buy 100 shares?
