@bookswithamanda212: Here is part 3 of 3 of things I do or don’t do as a happily and healthily married woman. Trust is a huge component to our marriage. I refuse to be in a relationship with someone I don’t trust or with someone who doesn’t trust me. Life is not meant to be harder with your spouse in it and the minute trust is gone, it becomes an exhausting life to navigate. Because I trust my husband and he trust me, we then do or don’t things in our marriage based on that. #marriage #marriedlife #relationships #womenempowerment #relationshiptips

My husband and I were exactly the same way. 100% trust always. I didn't even have the code to his phone. He passed away unexpectedly, and I knew he had pictures I wanted to save. After 3 months of failed attempts to unlock his phone, I finally figured it out (it was my birthday) I did go through his phone, and I found he was exactly the man I married, there was nothing that even raised an eyebrow. He only lied to me once, that was the day he died, we were texting back and forth. the last message from him was I love you, and I'll see you tonight. 30 mins later I got a call that he collapsed at work. I will never regret giving that man 100% of my trust, he was one of the best humans I have ever known.

Yup! My boyfriend has female friends and there’s no sexual attraction, he sees them as PEOPLE

Only thing that concerns me about “blindly” trusting your partner, is that if they have been cheating on you the whole time, then you will have wasted so many years. And to me that definitely would be a waste of my time. Knowing I was with someone who had been secretly cheating on me the whole time.

I hate the “I only want him to be nice to me” mentality because he only likes you because he’s getting what he wants. If that stops, you become every other woman to him. Also, why would you want to date a rude hermit? 🥴

So a man asking for a paternity test, would you see that as a sign of betrayal? Personally I think I would because it would make me question the trust you have in me. But at the same time I’m trying to be understanding and think okay as women we have that certainty but men don’t. Maybe he just needs reassurance… so I honestly don’t know.

i’m happy you exist. i feel less crazy in this world that reinforces these paths that don’t have peace because people are phobic of letting go of control and fear.

We have each other’s password to our phones. However, we have never ever gone through each other’s phone because that’s his privacy and that’s mine! I trust him and he trusts me and that’s enough

100, all things come to light at the time you need. I choose peace over control. but it also stems from trusting yourself to leave if i had to

thank you so much for speaking on the phones thing. i have seen so many videos recently saying that if you’re not looking through your man’s phone then you’re dumb/naive. i also don’t believe in looking through phones but all the content being pushed out was making me question myself. great video

All things you’ve said are correct. Like when you started dating . You were individuals with your own lives, hobbies, friends etc. Despite knowing this you got into a relationship. So why change that? Disagreement healthy my cousin once said to me. One advice i would give you. If you have a fight with your partner. Then don’t tell your mum, sister or friend etc. Because you end up getting back together. But you’ve now ruined their image in the eyes of your mum. Sister or whoever you’ve told.

Hard agree with all these videos. My husband and o have never had a fight or argument. We disagree on things sometimes but we talk and work through it and sometimes we just disagree, if it’s a life issue or relationship issue we keep talking until we come to an understanding and agreement on the issue together. We’ve been together for 16 years, I choose him every day, I want him, I don’t need him.

Yes the partner must be able to have friends of the opposite sex. So many of my friends who were girls their partners would get super jealous of me asking questions about me or being wary of me when whole time I was the main one reminding they were in relationships when they considered having fun at the club that night. Unfortunately I had to let a few of them go as a result

My parents used to read my diary 🤣 ever since then I’ve always hated the idea of my thoughts and space being invaded without invitation. I think it all goes back to consent too. My ex used to snoop through my phone and I put up with it for a while because I thought that was normal but it’s not. It was so intrusive and made me feel yucky. I had nothing to hide but it made me feel shame as if I was doing something wrong that made him feel like he had to do that. I’ve learned that it’s not normal and to not accept that ever again

Honest question: Can’t sex be one of the things you do with your friends of opposing sex? I mean without necessarily sexualizing them.

I would love if you could make a more in depth video about opposite sex friendships. I am currently struggling with this one and I feel shame for it, I’m totally fine with my husband having female friends but I feel like there needs to be boundaries around intimacy. I’m not sure if I’m being too rigid or if my concerns are valid. Do you and your husband set boundaries? For instance how would you feel about your husband having an early morning skinny dipping ritual with another woman😭😂? Early morning and late night texting? Asking for a friend 😂
