I was just about to message you. I’ve reached out to the mayors office, the superintendent, the school district and the school about the late buses. Like my daughter’s bus came 42 mins late and she was 30 mins late for school. Today it was 25 mins late. And transportations phone has been busy for 2 days straight.

My high schooler has 45 kids in every single class. There are not even enough desks or room in the classroom! Also, his school is not locked. You can literally just walk into the school. It is super unsafe.

Henderson school has their sh-t together cause we’re not having this problem . Now I think it’s ridiculous that they changed the time on the schools like 30 minutes is gonna change something I’m confused.

And now look at CCSD in 2026. Families are reporting major school transportation problems and staffing shortages, while students are dealing with schools and classrooms having AC issues in the Las Vegas heat. Yet under former Superintendent Jesus Jara, we saw investigations and controversy surrounding district spending, millions in additional benefits for top administrators, and he still walked away with a $250,000 buyout. How does a school district have money for all of that, but years later our kids are still dealing with basic necessities like reliable transportation, adequate staffing, and working air conditioning? Where is the accountability?
