Losing trust in medical professionals is SO real, and the harm that comes from it is very real too. ❤️🩹 My local hospital has completely lost my trust, even with things that should be the most basic parts of my care. In the past 6 months alone, I have almost lost my life twice because I was genuinely afraid to go to the hospital. That fear changes everything. I will do whatever it takes to travel an hour away to a hospital where I feel safe and trust my care team rather than go to the hospital right down the road. It’s heartbreaking when the place that is supposed to make you feel safe becomes the place you are most afraid to go. Medical trauma doesn’t just disappear when you leave the hospital😭🫂

I get you honey. my mum and dad both passed away due to direct actions from NHS staff. That left me feeling the same way, then came my daignosis(es) I could happy stay away from hospital for the rest of my life
