How can people still call Sarbuland a red flag after everything he has been through? 🙂 Before Sarbuland’s brother died, he left a huge responsibility on Sarbuland’s shoulders. At that point, what Sarbuland needed the most was Bano. But Bano never really understood him. She was always saying things like, “Why don’t you give me enough time?” and so on. She constantly demotivated Sarbuland, telling him to give up the Sardari and saying that it wasn’t meant for him. She used to say that she trusted Sarbuland blindly, yet when Rabia came to the haveli, she immediately started crying without even understanding the situation. (Although, to be fair, Bano had every right to question Sarbuland.) After Bano’s death, Sohrab Lala put the entire blame for Bano’s death on Sarbuland. And despite everything, Sarbuland remained strong enough to think practically. People keep saying that he didn’t even look for Bano, but he was actually thinking logically. If Bano had fallen from the mountain and died, her body would have definitely been found. So, if something had happened to Bano, it most likely happened inside the haveli, which means someone from the haveli must be involved in her death. He did cry for Bano in the hospital scene. He simply cannot mourn the way Rabia does because he also has to carry the responsibility of being the Sardaar. If Sarbuland is a red flag, then Bano is one too. Bano never truly understood or felt Sarbuland’s “majboori.” You used to call Sabika from MSM a red flag because she was insecure about Mohid. (And yes, Sabika definitely was a red flag.) Then how is Sherdil leaving such a huge responsibility on Sarbuland any different? Bano should have supported Sarbuland instead of constantly making him feel guilty for the responsibilities he had to carry. 🙂
