@bethroseofficial_: you’re flocking tired of being the one who notices everything. the dishes. the laundry. the shii on the floor. what needs to be cleaned. what everyone needs. what hasn’t been done. what needs to happen next. and eventually your body goes: CAN SOMEONE ELSE PLEASE NOTICE SOMETHING WITHOUT ME HAVING TO ASK?! because you’ve been tracking the entire environment all day. and when you’re used to living externally anchored, this can become automatic. your attention is constantly out there. scanning. anticipating. noticing. managing. and eventually you have nothing left. so something tiny happens and you lose your shii. yes, other people need to contribute. yes, your kids can pick up their crap. yes, you’re allowed to expect help. re-anchoring doesn’t mean becoming so regulated that you happily do everything yourself. it means noticing when you’ve spent the entire day everywhere except inside yourself. because you can ask for help without carrying the whole house in your nervous system first. and apparently today i needed this reminder too. 😂 this is the actual work. catching yourself in the moment you’ve left yourself and coming back. #nervoussystem #somatichealing #innerpeace #HealingJourney #reanchored
