So many examples of this - never the Father or FIL, always the Mother or MIL. Demanding to see the dress, demanding to control so many aspects of the wedding, don't want surprises (because it means they don't know everything happening), wearing white or slightly off white dresses. They can't let someone else have all of the attention for a moment. So sad. Yet men are the toxic ones?! Sadly toxic people are toxic people, gender, race don't matter.
