I'm with you. I'll never wax again. I just make dye with black walnut hulls

After painting them with 2 coats you mention you dip them twice in full metal jacket. I have never used full metal jacket what’s the reason for full metal jacket and how does it work? Thank you very much!

Absolutely no need to die traps. They’re underground no animal will see it.

That’s my go to for now on. Tried it two seasons ago and had good results so switched out the dye and wax for paint and floor wax

I’ve done it that way before. Had em hang outside all summer and I could still smell paint. I had a lot of refusals because of it. Went back to kickin it old school with dye and wax

👍👍💯 Mine were rusty from this wet season so I soaked them in Muratic acid, they looked new the next day.It etched the metal so I sprayed them with Rustoleum Reformer,I'm painting from now on 💯

Nope won’t catch a thing. You need buckets of fresh creek water a wood fire and cast iron pot and a bucket of walnut hulls 😂
