My theory is Lindsey actually thought she did it. I think her husband had her so drugged, barely conscious when he murdered the children in front of her. By the time she gained consciousness in the hospital, she probably only had some flashbacks so she truly believed she did it. I think he had been drugging her for months. On the day of the incident, she was completely out of it. I think as this case unfolds Lindsey will see for herself that she actually didn’t do this because of the scientific evidence.

The other issue is she may truly believe she did it. The psychological phenomenon is called “confabulation” that we studied in university. Reddington having all the information may have realized she didn’t do it and he didn’t have to change her mind he could simply prove it in court.

Another lawyer on here explained that they basically put everything they could possibly alleged in the civil case because you can’t come back and add it in later. So they basically are making a bunch of accusations and they’re gonna see what washes out in discovery.

I read that Reddington requested a bifurcated trial and the judge didn’t allow it, so Reddington used this plea to take the burden of proof off the defense. So they still have to prove she committed the crime regardless.

I think it’s absolutely wild in USA your MH system does not speak with each other and a patient can flit from one clinic/dr to another and not have one designated lead during their care plan??
