Circuit tracer and plug tester from Klien is a god send, should've mentioned that too. Ohming out circuits sucks ass.

Used a non-contact to help shut off a circuit the other day. Turns out the main service was right on the other side of the wall so the damn thing read hot the entire time.

I bought the Klein outlet tester combo that includes the circuit breaker identifier. It’s already paid for it. I changed a GFCI outlet in my kitchen. I wasn’t paying attention and installed it upside down, switching the wires. The outlet tester caught that for me. AND it let me know when the ground had become disconnected. Great tool.
