@brayanmess: My heart breaks for my country. Yesterday, August 10, Colombia was struck by a 7.4-magnitude earthquake centered in Chocó. It was felt across much of Colombia and neighboring countries, with devastating damage reported in Pereira, Cali, Manizales and Quibdó. My heart especially aches for Chocó, Colombia’s poorest department, where nearly 70% of the population was already living in poverty. Communities with limited access to infrastructure and essential services are now facing destroyed homes, damaged roads and an urgent need for help. I have seen many Spanish-language accounts sharing ways to help, and wanted to create a resource for those in my community who may not speak Spanish but still want to support Colombia.
