My now ex-husband called his side thing on my birthday several years ago when my kids were young (thankfully). He didn’t know the kids were listening. He called my plans (same one EVERY year) “dramatic” and “last minute”. I took his money on his credit card and took my kids out to celebrate my birthday. When men do this, you dump them. Periodt.

My ex ruined my last Halloween at college (Halloween is my favorite holiday and I feel Halloween college parties are fairly monumental) and the the next month my birthday/Thanksgiving (my birthday is days away from Thanksgiving) so I’m very glad I don’t have to deal with that manipulative bum anymore
