Okay so I watched a full documentary on this, She was hitchhiking as this man and his “wife” pulled up to help her. They took her to what’d they call it “a walk” which would be the place they covered her head and took her home. As she was at the home, she was treated a “maid”, though the wife did not fully support because of the man’s past with these women. Later it found that the man was trying to have a sexual relationship with Colleen and she somewhat went along with it hoping it will earn trust to let her make a plan. This also led to more abuse from his wife out of jealousy. But it did somewhat work, she was allowed outside with him, and she went home once but he introduced himself as her fiancé/spouse. Even though she was allowed to be out with him, she didn’t inform anyone what was happening because he told her that everyone around her was working for him and will bring her back to him. Little jump but the wife started to lean towards Colleen. She would read the Bible with Colleen, she later told her that this man was not involved in the organization he said to be in. In addition, the wife was also a victim of her husband. Which would be why she decided to drive Colleen to safety. Cameron, the man, was sentenced to 104 years in prison while Janice, the wife, was giving full legal immunity for going against him along with a divorce.
