I once tucked a $10 in the chamber and attempted to turn my rifle in. GM2 pocketed the $10, said he found gear adrift in my chamber, and sent be back to the cleaning line.

id buy a can of non-chlorinated brake cleaner or carb and choke cleaner and a can of wd 40. id waste the entire can of cleaner, it would breakdown and wash away any carbon or left over clp. then sprits it the entire gun with wd40 because the cleaner would make it look incredibly dry. then a quick wipe and it would pass. every time, less than 10 minutes cleaning. I was always first to leave the armory, or id make a few bucks cleaning a couple extra

Brought my own bore cleaner and a star chamber brush a few times. I’ll be damned if CLP and a ran through cleaning kit was gonna get it done after a heavy range day
