@chadg_ortho_ot: ⛳️ GOLFER’S ELBOW PAIN? Golfer’s elbow (medial epicondylalgia) typically causes pain along the inside of the elbow where several of the wrist and finger flexor muscles attach. And despite the name—you definitely don’t have to play golf to develop it! It can be aggravated by: 💪 Gripping and lifting 🔨 Repetitive hand or wrist activity 🏋️ Strength training ⛳️ Golf and other sports 🛠️ Work-related repetitive movements Rehab often focuses on gradually restoring the strength and load tolerance of the wrist flexor/pronator muscles, while also addressing grip strength and the rest of the upper extremity as appropriate. The goal isn’t always to completely stop using the arm—it’s to find a level of activity the tendon can tolerate and progressively build from there. 💥 Disclaimer: This content is for educational purposes only and is not medical advice.
