As a psychologist it’s a conflict of interest that she would have to speak to her client about and make a referral to another appropriate psychologist if the client wanted. She would no longer be able to see her client.

It would be considered a conflict of interest so most likely the psych would have to end the therapeutic relationship. But there are ethical grey areas they’d also consider.
