When I shared my perspective, I was accused of gaslighting her because I didn't agree with her reality. I never told her she was wrong. I never tried to change her perception. But my perspective was wrong, and my meanings/motives were incorrectly assigned.

what if a person gets mad and then goes and says IDC and it becomes a continuous pattern and when you say they are mad they say no I'm irritated even tho they are stomping have an attitude tossing shit on a glass table and slamming doors and not talking to you all bc you said basically and almost can be used in the same way ex. My ex used to do this all the time and it would literally drive me crazy. He’s the only person I’ve never been able to get through to with communication and I had never experienced it so I was so confused as to what was happening. Genuinely the scariest form of manipulation I’ve ever experienced

What about someone never saying you’re wrong but like always giving you “ solutions” like it’s positive but like it’s never just listening to you? Like everytime I go to my gma it’s like “ I can’t get through to the doctor they won’t pick up “ she’ll say “ well did you try calling more then once?” Like they can never just believe what happened to you their has to be a “solution “

Right right they're locked into their mindset or they're using it in a way to retaliate so they pretend they don't understand you or they act like what you're saying doesn't make sense when they know for well that of course it does or they're just so locked into their attitudes that it's like they're unable to be realistic about something or to consider a very reasonable alternate perspective
