also as a sidenote Trans women are more likely to experience sxual violence. their more beautiful experience isn't because they're free of gender violence but because the immense sacrifice to present as who you are usually requires deep introspection into what gender means

I think many cis women don’t like the idea of EVER being able to learn from, be inspired by or having to look up to a trans woman. Because I think many don’t see us as their equal.

You don’t disrupt a hierarchy by reversing the hierarchy and that’s the entire problem. It’s a lazy and ineffective solution. It’s careless and has negative after effects on all groups involved. We should hold them to a higher standard if they are going to take on these extremely complicated topics.

I think a lot of cis women hate trans women because they see how excited they are to interact with femininity in the way that they did as girls and got taken away from them to soon. Take the “ day x of girlhood” videos as an example.

i don’t like how we’re comparing womanhood between cis and trans women it doesn’t make any sense. bec OBVIOUSLY it’s going to be different. EVERYONES “womanhood” is different and special and unique to everyone. making it seem like we’re ranking it on who has to go thru more or who goes thru less for womanhood. that “beautiful” word is what throws me off me because who are you to say that doesn’t know me or my personal experiences about my womanhood and that it’s not as beautiful as a trans women womanhood.

When I hear that trans women have a more beautiful understanding of womanhood, I think of Dylan Mulvaney and her “day x of being a woman” posts. The joy that she felt expressing her femininity and living as a woman inspired me, and I realized that I do take a lot of the beautiful parts of being a woman for granted. It’s really concerning how unwilling people are to take part in a real conversation about this… it’s jarring to see just how many people who claim to fight for/love women are actually bigoted transphobes.
