@imperfecttaylor: The time has come 🫡 🚙 ✨ Sharing my honest thoughts! Have you ever upgraded a car? How’d the process go? Are you happy you did it? BTW - I used @upside when getting gas today to get some cash back. If you aren’t using upside everytime you fill up, check it out at the link in my bio. It’s one of my favorite apps 💙 10/10 recommend! @jiffylubeintl @aldiusa @upside @toyotausa @toyota #newcar #newcarbuying #buyinganewcar
Girl, just pay for a new paint job and a really nice interior detail and it’ll feel like a new car. If it’s not giving you any mechanical engine issues, don’t get rid of it!

DO NOT trade it in. keep it as backup car in case the new one is finicky due to electrical issues

I get it, but now is a TERRIBLE time to try and get a new car, even used one. If it side broke don’t replace it.

I kept my 2003 rav4 until it was not able to drive. I regret not getting something newer sooner because I needed to have a car for work so I had to get the fastest option

girl, that car is a gem. no new car will be this good. Just put an android stereo (200$) and you are good.

It’s a Toyota. It’s going to outlive humanity. Buy what you want, but buy it in cash. Car loans aren’t worth it.

driving a beat up car is so liberating though, you can park it ANYWHERE. Somebody dings your door or scuffs your bumper WHO CARES. it's my favourite.

You'll never find a brand new car that even comes close to being as reliable as this one, not even Toyotas. They used to make them so much better back then.

Speaking as someone who has worked in automotive for 15+ years, please hang on to that camry until repairs outweigh its cost to maintain. What you can start doing is putting the equivalent of a new car payment aside monthly so you can have a nice Lil down-payment (if you aren't already).
Newer cars are juat not built to last like they used to be and you will never get the same value out of another car as you have with your camry. (I also have a 2006 civic, i understand the struggle too). they're also costly, insurance will be higher, etc. when the day does start getting closer, PLEASE do research on repair costs/timeframes and dont get a first or second model year of anything out there. that's a huge mistake lots of folks make as well. every single manufacturer will have downfalls aka issues, but it will come down to one simple thing- how often are you willing to gamble having issues/repairs vs not.
cheers

Its a 2006 automatic toyota camry, add carplay, change the power steering fluid. This car will be so cheap and reliable in the long run. New cars only have nicer exteriors, but trust me, the driving experience is often the same or less, but less reliable, by alot

I bought a new car. The enjoyment lasted less then a month before it just became an appliance that costed a lot more then the one I just got rid of.
